@BRIDGe "Single cell" seminar

The @BRIDGe (INRA, Jouy-en-Josas) core facilties invite you to a "Single cell" seminar

Monday, January 28, 2019 from 13h30 to 18 hours in the lecture hall of building 440, INRA, Jouy-en-Josas

"Single cell" analysis is a very rapidly evolving apporach for the characterization of molecular information on the level of the single cell.

BandeauSC2018

The development of techniques and methods that are more and more reliable and varied for a large spectrum of cell types has helped make significant advances in very different fields.

On the Jouy research center within the genomics core facilities of the Life Science Department of the University Paris-Saclay core facilities network (GENOPS), scientific  colleagues have requested new information on the "Single cell" approach.

The @BRIDGe core facilities possess great expertise and experience in terms of isolating cells and microgenomics. They are organizing this seminar which will include several specialists in the field as well as suppliers to take stock of the proposed solutions for "Single cell" analysis today. This day will feed our reflection on the evolution of our services in genomics.

Two internationally reknowned scientists are invited to present very different approaches used in their research:

  •     a high-throughput scRNAseq approach, Pascal Barbry (CNRS-IPMC Sophia Antipolis)
  •     a more targeted approach on rare cells, such as CTC, Pamela Pinzani (Université de Florence).

Time will also be reserved for short presentations of different techniques.

Sponsor Stands

  • Sponsors will be present with stands in the hall during reception and  the coffee break.

Round Table

A round table discussion in which colleagues from other core facilities will share their "Single cell" experience at the end of the day.

The core facilities hope to see you there.

With the kind participation of:

  • 10XGenomics
  • BIO-RAD
  • Cellenion
  • Dolomite bio
  • Menarini
  • Qiagen
  • TAKARA
